1. Information We Collect

When you use our contact form or service request forms, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, Instagram handle (if provided), and message content.

We automatically collect your IP address for rate-limiting purposes to prevent abuse of our contact forms. This data is stored temporarily in server memory and is not persisted to any database.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiries, deliver our statistical analysis services, and communicate with you about your projects. We do not use your data for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt in.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data may be processed by our email delivery provider (Resend) solely for the purpose of delivering our communications to you. If you consent to analytics cookies, anonymized usage data is processed by Google Analytics. We do not share your research data or analysis results with anyone outside of GetBayes.

4. Project and Research Data

When you engage us for a statistical analysis project, you may send us a dataset (e.g., an Excel, SPSS, or CSV file) and related research materials. This project data is used solely to perform the analysis you requested, is never used for any other purpose, is never used to train any model, and is never shared with any third party.

Access to project data is limited to the analyst(s) assigned to your engagement. See "8. Data Retention" below for how long project data is kept and how to request its deletion.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All communications through our website are encrypted via HTTPS.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand visitor traffic, but only with your explicit consent. Analytics cookies are set solely if you accept them via the consent banner; if you decline, no analytics or tracking cookies are placed. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. If you are located in Turkey, your rights are also protected under the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698). If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months after the last communication.

Project data you send us for analysis (datasets and related research materials) is retained only for as long as needed to complete your engagement and any active revisions, and is automatically deleted no later than 90 days after final delivery. You can request earlier deletion at any time by writing to info@getbayes.me or via WhatsApp — we delete it the same day and confirm.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
